From Highways #401, #115, #7a, #28

If travelling from Toronto or west, take Hwy #115 from the #401, after Bowmanville. 
If travelling east on Hwy #7a from Newmarket or west, turn left on to Hwy #115 after Bethany.
If travelling from Kingston or east, take Hwy #28 to Hwy #115, at Port Hope

                       … when you come to Peterborough:

  1. Take the exit marked "The Parkway" (past the exit to Airport Road)
  2. Follow The Parkway to the 4th set of lights at Lansdowne Street
  3. Turn right on Lansdowne (there is a McDonalds on this corner)
  4. Follow Lansdowne Street down through 6 sets of lights to George Street (the Peterborough Memorial Centre is on your right)
  5. Turn left on to George Street
  6. Follow George Street along past Little Lake and the Holiday Inn on your right
  7. George Street then veers right and becomes Water Street
  8. Follow Water Street past the Galaxy Movie Theatre (corner of Charlotte Street)
  9. Then (still on Water Street) go through lights at Simcoe, Hunter and Brock Streets
  10. After Brock Street, Victoria Park is on your right and St. Paul's Church (red brick building) is ahead of you on the right at the corner of Water and Murray Street
  11. Turn right into Murray Street in front of the church building then immediately left into the lane-way at the side where there is parking
  12. Enter the church through the door ahead and turn left, up the steps, and follow the corridor to the church office

From Highway #7, east or west

If coming west on Hwy #7 from Ottawa direction, follow Lansdowne Street into Peterborough, turn right on to George Street at the Memorial Centre and follow above directions from item 6 above. 
If coming east on Hwy #7 from Lindsay area:

  • Turn right on to Chemong Road
  • Turn left at Parkhill Road
  • Turn right on George Street
  • Turn left at Murray Street
  • St. Paul’s is at the corner of Murray and Water
  • Proceed over Water Street in front of the church building then immediately left into the lane-way at the side where there is parking
  • Enter the church through the door ahead and turn left for the sanctuary, turn right for the Christian Education Hall

Parking

  • Weekdays: Parking is very restricted around St. Paul’s. Park according to street signs. No parking in the City Hall Parking lots. There maybe be one or two spaces in the lane way ion the east side of the church.
  • Special Events: Parking restrictions may be relaxed when weddings or funerals or other special events take place, Please contact the church office (705) 745-1411 for information.
  • Evenings: Parking places are widely available on adjacent streets or in the City Hall parking lots across Water Street from from the church, 6:00 pm onwards.
  • Saturdays & Sundays: Parking places are widely available on adjacent streets or in the City Hall parking lots across Water Street from the church.
  • Occasional Parking Restrictions: Due to special events in the centre of the city - e.g. parades, marathon races - there are sometimes parking restrictions. Notice is usually made in church on Sundays prior tosuch events.
